I ordered 30 leads/members from the 3StepSecret advertising co-op and they have been fulfilled. At first, the advertising co-op was for leads (when the 3StepSecret site had a lead capture page). But then it changed to members when they removed the lead capture page. I don't know where the leads came from, but I know I've gotten members from India (4), Nigeria, Canada (9), Pakistan, and Libya . So far, one of the 3StepSecret advertising co-op members has recruited one or more members. Keep in mind these are only my results from the co-op. Your results may be totally different.

Google Adwords Tip: Keywords From Traffic Swarm

Traffic Swarm can not only bring you targeted traffic, it can give you ideas for keywords to use in your Google Adwords ad groups. Traffic Swarm can give you an idea of what's popular in the internet advertising world if you surf it regularly. If you see something that comes up repeatedly, you could target people who search for that in Google. For example, I noticed that ProWealthSolutions at one time was seen a lot in Traffic Swarm, so I created an ad group for ProWealthSolutions. That ad group brought in quite a few members to PayItForward4Profits. I think it worked well because members of ProWealthSolutions were looking to make profits, and PayItForward4Profits enables members to make exactly that - profits.

New back office in 3StepSecret

If you haven't done so already, go the the 3StepSecret member login page and take a look at the new back office! It was designed to be more friendly for the type of people entering 3StepSecret (i.e. business opportunity seekers).

Sidebar Update: Removed 4 List Builders

I removed 4 list builders (FreeAdDepot, TargetAdsDepot, YourLuckyList, and TheListMachine) since they are recommended as part of ListJoe . ListJoe builds multiple list builders for you and is also a list builder itself. The basic idea of a list builder is that you agree to receive emails from other members, and you get the ability to email your downline (the specifics of what your downline is depends on the list builder). There may be other tricks like being able to email a certain number of people not necessarily in your downline. For example, in ListJoe, if you upgrade to Gold, then you get the added bonus of emailing 5000 random members every 3 days.

Most of my PIF4P members come from...

I want to help you be successful in PayItForward4Profits and rock the leaderboards! To help you do that, I'll share what has brought me the most PIF4P members so far. By far, most of my PIF4P members have come from Google Adwords. I've done some other things from the Success Guide, like Traffic Swarm (upgraded), Direct Matches (upgraded), and a bit of other things. These include ezine/list builder advertising, forum posting, blogging, and article writing. However, I would say that at least 80% of my members came from Google Adwords.

Does Google Adwords work?

You may be thinking, "Does Google Adwords work?" Just take a look at it in action: go to Google and type in something like "work at home" or "business opportunity". Take a look at the number of ads you see along the top and right-hand side of the page. These ads are the result of advertisers placing ads for these specific keywords like "work at home" and "business opportunity".

Also, there is a high chance that you signed up for PIF4P (or 3StepSecret) through Google Adwords. If it worked for you, don't you think it would work for others?

Learning and Resources for Google Adwords

I started with Google Adwords by getting Perry Marshall's Google Adwords guide. He is known for being an expert at Google Adwords. If you're going to learn, learn from the best!

A keyword tool I like to use is the Overture Keyword Selector. Just type in a keyword or key phrase and it will give suggested similar search terms with their number of searches for a particular month in Overture (Yahoo's search engine).

Make sure you read over Day 6 of the Success Guide in step 3. Day 6 covers Google Adwords and shows you how to get started. When you get to the bottom of the page, there is a Google Adwords Video Training with Joel Broughton. It's an excellent introduction and will show you how to setup your campaigns and ad groups so that you can maximize your results.

My Google Adwords experience

I have different campaigns targeting people for both my PayItForward4Profits and 3StepSecret sites. My average cost per click for my campaigns ranges from $0.16 to $0.45. Keep in mind those are averages, so the actual cost per click can be lower or higher. I like to keep my cost per click below $0.80.

I have received about 200 members so far from my Google Adwords advertising campaigns. The average cost per member for me is about $5. According to Paul Birdsall and Joel Broughton, a PIF4P member is worth anywhere from $4 - $15 over the long term. So $5 seems pretty good to me. And that's the price you pay for PIF4P member if you participate in the PIF4P advertising co-op. Keep in mind that the average you pay for a member using Google Adwords could be higher or lower.

For my Google Adwords campaigns, I actually promote http://incomewave.ws/profits.htm and http://incomewave.ws/3stepsecret.htm . These are copies of http://derickyung.payitforward4profits.com and http://derickyung.3stepsecret.com . The reason I use my incomewave.ws domain is that Google Adwords only wants one affiliate of a website showing for each keyword. If I used my http://derickyung.payitforward4profits.com site directly, I would have a harder time getting my ad to show up.

Google Adwords Alone Can Bring You Massive Profits

That's right - Google Adwords by itself can make you massive profits. If you simply want to make money online, you can use Google Adwords. If you want to start duplicating the methods I use, you must take a look at the success guide and specifically Day 6, which covers Google Adwords. Remember, Google Adwords is a proven advertising method where you only pay for clicks! Plus you can control your daily budget, so you never spend more than you want to each day or week or month! You won't have a successful Google Adwords campaign instantly, but you can improve each and every day. That way, over time, you'll build up more and more targeted traffic. The key is to get started and TAKE ACTION NOW. Login to your back office of PayItForward4Profits and go through Day 6 of the success guide under step 3.

Profit With PayItForward4Profits

I remember listening to Janet Legere talk about how long it would take to get in profit with PayItForward4Profits. If I recall correctly, the average is something like this:
You can be in profit within 3 months if you work the system for 2 hours a day.

Remember, this is NOT a guarantee. It's just an estimate of how long it will take to get in profit. It could be faster or slower for you, depending on how much you do. If you've already had some previous Internet marketing experience, it will probably be faster for you. If you spend more time and/or money, it will probably be faster for you.

Don't expect the profits to come overnight. If it was as easy as simply signing up for some programs and waiting, don't you think everyone would have massive profits?

After you've received your first set of leads from TrafficOasis, you need to make sure you've setup your TrafficOasis autoresponder. To find out how to set it up, login to your PayItForward4Profits back office and go to Training -> Internet Tools Training. Near the bottom of the page you'll see:

I reached PIF4P Executive!

Today I reached PIF4P Executive level! That's over 250+ members. The next level, Senior Executive, comes at 500+ members. All I have to do to get there is do the same thing I did to get 250.

It all starts with getting that first member in PIF4P. If you can get 1 member, then you know how to get 1 member. So you just do the same thing to get another member. If you can get 10 members, you know how to get another 10. If you can get 100 members, you know how to get another 100. If you can get 1000 members, you know how to get another 1000. This numbers game can keep going on, but you get the point, right?

New Sidebar Links: FreeTraffic4Profits + List Builders

The links sidebar to the right has been updated to include the new FreeTraffic4Profits and more of its recommended programs. Among these are TrafficHoopla and ListJoe. TrafficHoopla has their own testing system for ranking the effectiveness of different manual traffic exchanges. ListJoe is a list builder which lets you email 5000 members every 3 days if you upgrade. It also promotes multiple list building programs for you.

The PIF4P & 3StepSecret Co-ops, And The Funnel

On the Dec 16 Saturday Breakfast Training Call, Joel Broughton explained what's the difference between the two ad co-ops offered by PayItForward4Profits.

The PIF4P co-op gets you members who come mainly from Google Adwords, plus some magazine advertising, Yahoo search, and MSN search. Most of these people already have a primary business because business builders are targeted.

The 3StepSecret co-op gets you members who come mainly from newspaper advertising, plus some magazine advertising, and Google Adwords. The 3StepSecret ad co-ops runs a lot faster because there are more people looking for a business than network marketers/business builders. These business seekers are less experienced and most don't have a primary business.

Concentrate and focus on getting good at one of these targets: PIF4P or 3StepSecret. If you get good at one, you can target the other.

Putting Members In The Funnel

Let the system do the sales for you. The system is like a big funnel. Your focus is putting members in the funnel (ie the front end). Don't spend all your time getting people to join and upgrade. If you spend more time sponsoring members, then you will get more people potentially joining and upgrading. Don't start chasing people because the system is designed to do the sorting and sifting for you. Provide customer service - not sales.

Interview with Benjamin Zimunya

Here are notes from an interview with Benjamin Zimunya from the Dec 16 Saturday Breakfast Training Call.

Benjamin Zimunya is a full-time college student accounting major with approximately 800+ PayItForward4Profits members and approaching the executive level. He had no previous knowledge with internet marketing and a little bit of experience with network marketing.

What exactly did Benjamin do? He went through the guide - it's all laid out. He spent 4 or 5 hours a day during the summer, and now he spends 2 ir 3 hours a day on his business. He doesn't think he'll need a job after graduation.

The keys to Benjamin's success: getting his questions answered from places like the chat forum, recordings, and print material. He reinvests what he makes to grow his business faster and faster. The Response Magic autoresponder is very important to his business. It keeps him in contact with his members.

Split testing your Google Adwords ads

Split testing is a method you can use to test the effectiveness of your PayItForward4Profits or 3StepSecret ads on Google Adwords. The idea is simple: run two ads and see which one gets the better response. To see your ad or ads, click on your Ad Group and then click on the Ad Variations tab. If you only have one ad, you'll want to create another ad with a single variation. Most likely you would want to vary your headline, as that is the most important part of your ad. The headline is where you want to spend most of your ad tweaking time. To create a new ad, look for + Create new ad: Text ad.

Let's say you've been running your two ads. Now you want to see how confident you are that one ad is actually better than the other in the long term. Check out: http://www.splittester.com
Enter the number of clicks and CTR (click thru rate) for both ads in the form. The result will what % of confidence you have that the ads will have different long term response rates.

Joel Broughton's Military Story

Here's a short piece from the Dec 9 Saturday Breakfast Training Call about Joel Broughton and the military.

The military impressed to Joel Broughton that he had to have everything perfect before the implementation. Planning and analyzing everything beforehand could have meant the difference between life and death in the military.

That idea of perfection is absolutely false with marketing, which is totally different than the military's idea. Joel Broughton used to want to have everything perfect being running an ad - the sales letter, ad copy, shipping and ordering details. His partner Paul Birdsall would say something like: let's just run the ads, see what we'll get, and don't be scared to take risks.

With marketing, you don't have to be able to predict the results to a tee. Stop worrying about the i's and t's. It's necessary to learn. However, if you're sitting around learning and not taking action, why not learn while taking massive action?

Interview With Jay Kanik

Notes from the Dec 9 interview with Jay Kanik on the Saturday Breakfast Training Call:

He is a national executive in PayItForward4Profits with ~1500 members. He joined in late May. He has been in network marketing a long time and failed a lot as companies closed. His most important piece of advice is to pick something that's been around 20 - 30 years. Up until PayItForward4Profits, he had no prior internet marketing experience.


Jay Kanik's advice

He recommends continuous improvement and always learning more. Know something today that you didn't know yesterday. If your mind's not in the right place, the rest doesn't matter. Think you can do it. Don't say "I'll give it a shot". Know it's going to work and run with it. Go read "Rich dad, poor dad" to learn about leveraged income. Remember to take action. People ask him how he stays positive all the time. He listens to Success University motivational courses.

Ezine Advertising

Ezine advertising can be a very effective way to gain many PayItForward4Profits members in a short period of time. It is what I would call a short-term advertising strategy. You have to pay each time you want to post an ad (let's say it's a solo ad).

Keep in mind that your response rates may vary greatly. Factors that can affect your response rate include:

The lead capture page has been removed and GDI is no longer promoted right away. There is a new 3StepSecret autoresponder geared towards members, so make sure you upload it from your PayItForward4Profits back office.

The new 3StepSecret site allows visitors to experience the benefits of the system before deciding to join GDI. You'll have huge success with promoting this. Joel Broughton predicts everyone will be talking about the ketchup and rice guy (Paul Birdsall) in the next 6 months.

A major way to attract people to your new 3StepSecret website is through Google Adwords. When you write an ad for anything, think of these two things that people will ask:

Advice for brand new members
You need to give yourself permission to learn what you need to do to make it work. Try everything, go through and experience the program, and take time. It's a learning process. If you're not willing to learn and adapt, you'll have short-lived success.

The focus isn't on the money, it's on helping people.

Your techniques must be duplicatable. Duplication is critical. In fact, she has a note that always reminds her, "Is it duplicable?"

The training in PIF4P is superb. They have regular live training calls and recorded training calls you can listen to at any time. They have a supportive member chat forum where you can browse for answers or post your own questions. Usually, when you post a question, you'll get a response within a matter of hours or a day at most since there are so many members.

When you join, you'll be presented with a back office that clearly shows you what steps you should take to maximize your potential with PIF4P. Response Magic Tip

Would you like to track your links in the Response Magic broadcasts you send to your PayItForward4Profits members? If you use a tracking service like TrackThatAd, you can find out how many clicks your links received, but you can't find out who clicked them. If you can find out which members clicked on your links, then you'll know who is interested in what. You can do just that by enabling link tracking within Response Magic. Go to Settings -> Personal Settings, and then check Enable Link Tracking. There you have it! When you send out a broadcast with links in it, they will automatically be tracked.

Here's another idea for getting keywords: target network marketing companies. What I do is create an ad group for a specific network marketing company. Let's say I'm creating an ad group for Xango. I would promote my PayItForward4Profits site since I'm targetting business builders. I would then have a list created beforehand of keywords I think people would type if they wanted to build a network marketing company.

If you're advertising with Google Adwords, an idea for keywords is to target other marketers by their name. When someone searches for a specific marketer, they are interested in that person for some reason. They may have seen them on a leaderboard, are looking to learn about their methods of promotion, and desire to copy them. They may want to see how they market and find out what makes them successful. Or... maybe they just want some background information.

A good place to get started with a list of marketers is Instant Buzz. In case you don't know what Instant Buzz is, it's a free plugin that lets you advertise on other people's Internet browsers. It's quick to install and could be a constantly growing source of traffic for you, due to its viral nature. To access the list of marketers, go to the Grow and Build section, then go to the area for Promotional Tools. Under PPC And Google Ads, you'll find a list of some names of top marketers.

Another place to get names of marketers is through the leaderboards of various programs, like that of GDI. Target anyone who consistently shows up near the top and is also in PayItForward4Profits. Or you could go even more general and target all top enrollers on the GDI leaderboard.

A Common Google Adwords Misconception

Are you afraid to start advertising with Google Adwords because you think you'll write a bad ad that no one will click on and cost you a lot? The good news is that if no one clicks on your ad, it will cost you nothing. That's right - nothing!

If no one responds to your classified ad in a newspaper, of course it will cost you since you paid just to have your ad in circulation. However, Google Adwords is not like classified advertising because you pay per click. You have greater control over your ads. You can have multiple ads, target certain countries, schedule your ads to run during specific times, and more. You can easily control how much you spend on ads by specifying your cost per click and by setting your daily budget for each campaign.

Let's say you have a Google Adwords campaign with a daily budget of $5.00. Once you reach enough clicks in that campaign to reach $5.00, your ads will stop running. You won't spend any more on that campaign for that day. You can always adjust your daily campaign so you never spend more than you can afford.

A good way to find out what your daily budget should be is to take how much per week you can comfortably handle with Google Adwords. Divide that number by 7, and set it as your daily budget. If you have multiple campaigns, make all the budgets add up to the daily budget number you got.

Google Adwords can really pay off for you. If you haven't created an account yet, you will want to go ahead and create one. Start experimenting! Remember, if no one clicks, you pay nothing.

Quick And Easy Traffic Swarm Tips

Traffic Swarm is a traffic advertising tool that can work to bring you PayItForward4Profits signups on a regular basis. I use Traffic Swarm to promote PayItForward4Profits and do get signups regularly. It's not a huge flow of signups, but it's better than nothing, right?

If you want to target your ads towards the PayItForward4Profits site, first think of an attention grabbing, benefit focused headline. The headline is what sparks someone to click on your ad. The actual ad copy is not as important as the headline, since the headline is what pulls someone in toward your ad. Of course, that doesn't mean you should write some poor or irrelevant ad copy, since you want to target your ad as much as possible.

It is better to have more ads (you can have as many as you want as a pro member). Each ad you write will target a specific audience. The more ads you have, the greater number of people you can target. Also, having a poor ad won't affect you as much since you'll have many more that probably work well, as long they are properly targeted.

Try to keep your credits above 4k. There seems to be some magical number (around 3k - 4k) at which point your ads will be shown more often to Traffic Swarm users. If you're a free member, this will be a difficult task for you.

The best way to keep your credits up is to surf Traffic Swarm regularly and go pro. As a pro, you get more credits from your clicks, and you get an automatic 2500 credits added to your account per month. Additionally, you can get your membership paid for if you have enough pro members in your downline (up to 5 levels).

To keep surfing Traffic Swarm regularly, make it a daily activity. I like to surf while listening to recorded training calls. Since you'll be waiting for the timer to count down before your next click, feel free to add in other traffic exchanges. With a tabbed browser like Firefox, you can have each traffic exchange in its own tab. Then what you do is click, switch to the next tab, click, switch to the next tab, and so on for each traffic exchange.
